We seek to enroll students who will benefit from our specialized programs. Admission is based on a family interview and tour, followed by a trial day period to determine if our educational environment is the right fit.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Once the family and school determine it is a good fit and a space becomes available, caregivers will complete the contract and financial agreement to secure your child’s spot in the program.
Yes, there is a non-refundable application fee, payable upon submission of the application.
We do not offer scholarships directly through REC, but we are a Step Up for Students provider and accept both FES/Step Up for Students and AAA scholarships.

Our classrooms maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio of 1:3, with a maximum of 1:4, ensuring personalized attention and tailored instruction for each student.
Yes, we offer a variety of extracurricular and elective activities such as art, music, and physical education (PE), enriching our students' educational experience.
Regular attendance is essential for student success. We expect students to attend all scheduled classes and activities. In case of absence, parents should notify the school in advance. Excessive absences may prompt a meeting to discuss the student’s progress.
Note: If your child receives state funding, specific attendance stipulations apply. It is the responsibility of the family to stay informed about those requirements.
No. Caregivers are responsible for providing lunch, snacks, and beverages for their student.
Student safety is our top priority. Our campus is secured with surveillance cameras and controlled access points. Staff are trained in safety protocols, and we maintain a low student-to-staff ratio to ensure constant, appropriate supervision.

We provide informal evaluations through both observation and written data to determine goals for occupational therapy, speech therapy, and educational support.
Yes. Each student receives one hour of individual speech therapy and one hour of individual occupational therapy per week. This does not include additional group sessions or classroom-based “sit-in” support.

We believe in open communication. Parents receive regular updates through our shared communication portal, as well as emails and direct access to the school phone number during business hours. Teachers and therapists are also available for consultations to discuss your child’s progress. Additionally, quarterly report cards are disseminated with updates on children's goals.
Yes, we host scheduled parent-teacher conferences and workshops throughout the year to support collaboration and provide insight into our educational and therapeutic approaches.
We have an open-door policy. Parents are welcome to visit at any time during business hours. While we recommend scheduling visits in advance to minimize classroom disruption, it is not required.
Yes. Parents may observe classrooms and activities. Please coordinate with the administration ahead of time so we can set up remote viewing via computer or smart board to avoid disruption to other students.
We require parents to volunteer a minimum of 15 hours per school year. For those that would prefer to buy out their hours, they are welcome to do so at a rate of $100/hour.

Students may use devices strictly for therapeutic and educational purposes. iPads at school are used as augmentative communication devices, and televisions are used for instruction—except during designated “fun days.”
We use a positive and developmental support model, focusing on working through challenges in effective ways. When behavioral concerns arise, we apply a restorative approach involving the student, parents, and staff to address the issue collaboratively and constructively.
All staff are trained in first aid and CPR. We have protocols in place for medical emergencies, including immediate response procedures and communication with emergency services and parents. Emergency contact information is collected annually.
